An escape room discount code is a great way to have fun for less. Particularly during the summer holidays when you have children or grandchildren to entertain.

In our experience escape rooms are a great way to fill some time and build new memories. So here’s our complete list of current escape room discount codes.

This page will be updated as new discount codes are added or removed.

Know Escape discount code

Like many other UK escape room venues, Know Escape are taking part in the UK Government’s family fun summer discount scheme. Use the code familyticket to claim a 15% discount. You will need to have at least one under-16 to qualify for the price cut however.

We’re not sure how long this one will last, but the code BHM currently unlocks a 10% discount on any Know Escape game – including the legendary ‘Escape the Night’ overnight escape room.

We’ve played quite a few of the Know Escape games (most recently Eerie Motel and Rob the Bank 2), enjoying ourselves every time.

You can also claim a 20% discount on The Governor at the Bishop Stortford venue using the code HANDCUFF. The Governor closes in September, so you better be quick (or play at one of the other venues, like Chelmsford).

EO Escape discount code

EO Escape are currently running a discount for families, with kids playing for just £5. However… the kids must be aged under-15, be accompanied by two full-paying adults, the discount is only valid for weekend bookings and only applies to the Castaway, Keyper’s Secret and Backstage (reloaded) games.

That may sound a little restrictive, but the EO rooms are worth the faff. We recently played the Karma Club escape room and thought it was excellent.

Houdini’s Escape Room discount code

Teams of six can use the Houdini’s discount code CELEBRATE to book any room at any location for just £80. That’s a saving of up to £82.00 when booking at the Houdini’s venues in London. Bargain.

CELEBRATE is currently still working. However, you can also use SUMMERFUN for a 25% discount for teams of four or more, playing daytimes Monday – Friday. Playing in Dundee? Then you’ll need the code SUMMERFUN2 (only valid until August 17th).

We played Room 13 at the Southampton branch a few years back and found it to be reasonable.

Houdini’s offers a standing 50% discount for all games played on Tuesdays – for teams of four or more.

BONUS: Use the code PRICECUT for a 50% discount on all rooms and locations. Sadly, this code is only valid for use on a Tuesday.

Cluetopia discount code

Currently awaiting new codes…

Cluetopia has just announced their half-term holiday deal for families which should save you a couple of quid. Use the code FAMILY plus the number in your party, to get a reduction at checkout. So for a family of three, the code becomes FAMILY3, five people is FAMILY5 etc.

Discounts start at 13.5% for a team of three, right up to 25% off for a team of ten. The family ticket is valid on all bookings between Friday 22nd and Sunday 31st May.

We’ve played a few rooms in Clacton, Ipswich and Braintree and found them to be fun and challenging. Notably, the operators of these rooms design their own stories and puzzles – they are not available anywhere else.

Escape Colchester discount code

Four groups of four or more playing on a Tuesday, use the code PRICECUT for a 50% discount.

No Escape discount code

No Escape is offering a new 25% discount. Use the code FAMILY25 at checkout, but be quick – the discount expires on July 31st.

The discount can be used across all nine games at the four No Escape venues in London.

Bust Out 360 discount code

Bust Out 360 has a range of discounts:

Get any game for just £90 with the WEEKDAY90 discount code. Only valid for teams of 4 or more playing on a term-time weekday.

Blue Light Card holders can score a 10% discount with the code NHS10. Valid for groups of three or more, the discount can be applied to any game on any day.

STUDENT15 unlocks a 15% discount with valid student ID. Valid all day, every day.

Gran or Grandad plays free with the code ESCAPE65 – so long as they are accompanied by at least three full-paying players.

Carers can also claim a free game with the code WECARE when visiting with as part of a team of four or more. You will need to bring proof of carer status when you play.

Escape Chelmsford discount code

Groups of four or more playing on a Tuesday can use the code PRICECUT for a 50% discount.

Bonus: You can also try your hand at axe throwing at this venue.

Like many other operators, Exit Rooms offer discounts for students and Blue Light Card holders. Use the discount code STUDENT15 or BLUELIGHT15 as appropriate. Interestingly, these escape room discount codes can be used all day, every day.

Code expired 😞 Use the code LOVETHEOLDTOWN for a 20% discount on your escape room booking. Sadly, the code is not valid on Saturdays.

Like the other ‘Escape’ venues, use the code SUMMERESCAPE to score 20% off your game. You can also use the code to purchase gift cards – very handy if you want to save money at some point in the future.

You can claim a 10% discount on any booking using the code ESCAPE10.

Locked in a Room discount code

Valid at Milton Keynes and Southampton only, use the code HEATWAVE30 for a 30% discount on the Parallax and Time Lock rooms. We checked and the code does not seem to work at the Exeter or Bristol venues.

Locked in a Room venues are also participating in the government’s Great British Summer scheme. Assemble your team (including a minimum of one under-16), book a family ticket and pay just £85 all-in. Offer is only available until 1st September.

A 15% discount can be unlocked using the code EARLYBIRD15. This code is only valid for bookings between Monday and Wednesday.

We’ve played Parallax in Southampton and found it to be a good challenge for the two of us. It’s a short walk from the Moxy Southampton where we stay in sometimes before a cruise. We have also played Timelock at the Milton Keynes venue.

Panic Room Gravesend

Panic Room Gravesend has joined the UK Government’s Great British Summer Savings program, offering a 15% discount for family days out. To claim, simply book one of these four escape rooms and play between 25th June and 1st September:

You must also have at least one under-16 year old on your team, although there’s nothing to say you have to be related to said child…

There’s also another intriguing alternative that doesn’t involve leaving the house in the current heatwave. Use the code BEATTHEHEAT to obtain a 50% discount on any Panic Room online escape room experience. Cool!

Case Closed Edinburgh discount codes

Is it a discount code or not? Enter the code STUDENT15 at the checkout to receive a 15% discount on your booking. Just make sure your kids/grandkids take along some form of student ID.

Clue HQ discount code

This one is very family-specific. Use the code SCHOOLSOUT24 when booking to receive one free child place per two-paying adults. For this deal, kids must be aged under 13.

Mindworks escape room discount code

Use the code FAMILYSAVER15 for a 15% discount. Family teams must include at least two kids and one paying adult. A family of four will save £18, although the discount is not available on Saturdays.

Xscream Escapes discount codes

Save 20% off bookings between Monday and Sunday with the code STUDENT10. Obviously, don’t forget to take the relevant ID when visiting. There is also a 20% Blue Light discount (code: BLUE20) but you will need a Blue Light Card to qualify.

One word of warning. Xscream Escapes focuses on fear and horror, so this may not be the best choice for young kids.

Escape Brum escape room discount code

Use the code PLAY75 and all rooms are just £75. A decent reduction – Escape Brum escape rooms normally cost £92 for four players.

Lucardo Escape Rooms discount codes

There are quite a few codes available at Lucardo’s that could save you some serious money. NHS workers, Teachers, Police, Armed Forces and Fire services personnel can all save 20% on their booking with the code HEROES20. ID required.

Students can save £40 for a team of six with code Mstudent6. A team of 3-5 student players can save 20% with code OStudent3-5. These student codes are only valid Monday to Friday and exclude the Virginia House premises. Valid student ID required.

Perhaps the best deal is the ‘Thursday Promo Special’. Make a phone booking on 0161 425 2580 and quote Thursday promo special to access a special 2-for-1 deal. Pay for your first game and receive a second completely free. Note that you will have to play each game consecutively on the same day.

Also note that none of these deals are offered at the Lucardo Rawtenstall centre.

Elusion Rooms discount codes

Use the code SUMMERVIP for a 25% discount on every booking. Note that the code cannot be used for Saturday bookings. Kids under 8 go free.

Exciting Escapes have two decent offers. Use the code SUMMER89 to reduce game prices to £89 per room (only valid Monday-Friday). Alternatively, OFFPEAK15 can be used by teams of three or more for a 15% discount (valid Sunday to Friday).

AIM Escape

The code lastdaysale is worth 15% off your next booking – with prices starting from £31 per person. There are four rooms to choose from – and three are rated as ‘difficult’. Might be worth checking out next time you’re in the Whitechapel area of East London.

This one is nice and simple. During the summer holidays, children play for just £10 each (usually they are charged at full rate – £27.50). This deal appears to be available for Peak and Off Peak times and dates too.

You’ll have to plan a long way ahead with this one. The code EARLY_BIRD10 will give you a 10% discount on any game booked at leats four weeks in advance. Note that children and adults are priced the same for these games.

Can You Escape? discount code

You’ll have to plan ahead for this one. Use the code EB15 for a 15% discount on any booking at least 15 days into the future.

You can get a 15% discount using the code Weekday15, valid Monday-Thursday. There are two rooms with three varying levels of difficulty at this independent escape room venue.

Sadly, Escape 808 appears to have closed down.

Use the code SUMMER20 to get a 20% discount for all groups of four or more. This discount code cannot be used on Saturdays or for any of the Escape 808 party packages.

Trapped escape room discount codes

Use the code SUMMER30 for a 30% discount on all bookings between Monday and Friday. Note that sessions are open, so there will be other people playing along with your family. Trapped do allow players under the age of 14, but they require advanced notice to make the experience more “child friendly”.

Another handy school holiday deal. Use the code ESCAPEEDU10 at the checkout for a 10% discount on all games. Just note that your children will need to be aged 11+.

Escape Hunt discount codes

Escape Hunt has a number of discounts available for their rooms. Students can claim 15% off, but they will need to present ID at the time of booking (only valid Monday-Thursday).

Key workers can claim 10% when their team of four (or more) plays between Monday-Thursday using the code KEYWORKER2024. At least one player must have valid ID showing their status as a key worker (think nurse, doctor, paramedic, firefighter etc).

Interestingly, Escape Hunt also offer discounts for more ‘mature’ players. If you’re over 60, you can claim 10% off your ticket price – just present ID when arriving at the escape rooms. Again, this deal is only valid Monday-Thursday.

Finally, using the code EHEARLYBIRD results in a 10% discount on any booking for a game before 12pm Monday-Thursday.

Cave Escape offer a range of discount codes depending on your circumstances.

‘Heroes’ (Blue Light Card holders, veterans, key workers etc) can claim a 20% discount using code HEROES. Note that this discount can only be applied to games played on a Friday evening.

ESCAPESH will unlock a 20% discount for teams of four or more students. This code is only valid on Tuesday and Wednesday bookings.

Rates are also reduced across the board for ‘off peak’ bookings, no discount code required. Check the website for what classifies as ‘off peak’.

Escape Reality escape room discount code

Bit of a strange one this. The code WORLDOFESCAPE10 can be used to get a 10% discount per player – but only when booking escape rooms at the Escape Reality Glasgow location. Just use the code when making a booking online.

The Escapement escape room discount codes

The Escapement has recently announced that they will close on August 31st 2026. There are plans to re-open at another venue, but details are yet to be announced. In the meantime, all games are available for a £90 fixed fee.

The Escapement in Margate has two permanent discount offerings. Blue Light card holders can claim a 10% discount on their booking with the code BLUELIGHT. And if it’s your birthday, use the code BIRTHDAYESCAPE to get 10% off one person’s entry (note: you’ll need a team of six to claim this discount).

You will need to show ID at the venue to claim either of these discounts.

Escape room discount codes for London?

Occasionally you may be able to pick up a discount for escape rooms in central London by buying a Groupon/Wowcher deal. However, the savings tend to be minimal and the booking options severely limited.

The cost of real estate rental in London, along with sustained demand from players, means that most escape room operators in the city do not/cannot offer discounts.
