In our experience escape rooms are a great way to fill some time and build new memories. So here’s our complete list of current escape room discount codes.

Know Escape discount code

Use the code 20DEAL at the checkout for a 20% discount on all rooms (except Escape the Night). This code is valid for parties of two or more, which is nice for those who prefer smaller, childless teams 😀

Houdini’s Escape Room discount code

Houdini’s have introduced some new discount codes depending on where you want to play. We recently played Room 13 at the Southampton branch and found it to be enjoyable.

Preparing a day out with friends this December? Use the code XMAS25 to score a 50% discount for teams of four or more. The code is valid Monday to Friday between 15th December 2025 and 9th January 2026 at every venue except Greenwich.

Want to play sooner? The code WARRINGTON50 nets a 50% discount for teams of four at the new Warrington venue. Offer valid Monday 1st December to Friday 5th December 2025 only.

BONUS: Use the code PRICECUT for a 50% discount on all rooms and locations. Sadly, this code is only valid for use on a Tuesday.

Cluetopia has a one-day Black Friday deal going live on November 28th. Use the code CLUEDAY20 to score 20% of all bookings AND gift vouchers.

The discount can be used on any booking at any Cluetopia venue.

We’ve played a few rooms in Clacton, Ipswich and Braintree and found them to be fun and challenging. Notably, the operators of these rooms design their own stories and puzzles – they are not available anywhere else.

Book using the code MAYBH to book any room for just £90 between now and Monday 5th May. That’s a saving of at least £10 for a group of 4 – or £54 for teams of 8 players

Escape Colchester discount code

Use the code GV25 for a 25% discount on all gift cards purchased before Christmas. Four groups of four or more playing on a Tuesday, use the code PRICECUT for a 50% discount.

We’ve played a few of the rooms in Colchester and they tend to be slightly simpler than others – perfect for a family trip (or first time escapers!).

Escape Chelmsford discount code

Run by the same franchise behind Escape Colchester, the same GV25 code can be used for a 25% saving on all gift card purchases. You can also use the code DEC20 for a slightly smaller 20% discount on all bookings made during December.

Four groups of four or more playing on a Tuesday, use the code PRICECUT for a 50% discount.

Bonus: You can also try your hand at axe throwing at this venue (the GV25 code also applies to axe-throwing gift cards.

Dark Arts Potion Bar discount code

Code expired 😞 Use the code LOVETHEOLDTOWN for a 20% discount on your escape room booking. Sadly, the code is not valid on Saturdays.

Escape Southend discount code

The same as Escape Colchester, you’ll have to plan ahead for this one. Use code SUMMERESCAPE at the checkout for a 20% discount. Note that this code also works for gift vouchers purchases, which is nice!

Escape Ipswich discount code

Like the other ‘Escape’ venues, use the code SUMMERESCAPE to score 20% off your game. You can also use the code to purchase gift cards – very handy if you want to save money at some point in the future.

Escape Kent code

Escape Kent is currently running a limited promotion where the first 100 bookings to use the code RivalsSEB15 can get 15% off. But you’ll have to be quick!

Otherwise, you can claim a 10% discount on any booking using the code ESCAPE10.

Locked in a Room discount code

Locked in a Room is offering 20% games in December when booked using the code YULENEEDACLUE at the checkout. The code can be used for parties of any size – including twosomes. The franchise is even launching a new Wallace & Gromit themed room across their venues.

Note: The YULENEEDACLUE code will only work when booking the Parallax or Timelock rooms. The code is only valid during December.

Make sure you select ‘Discount code’ rather than ‘Voucher’ during the booking process, otherwise the code will not be recognised.

Locked in a Room Westquay (Southampton) is running a special promotion this summer. use the code HEATWAVE30 to score a 30% discount on their Parallax and Timelock rooms (it won’t work for the Wallace & Gromit game). On the plus side, you can use this code for teams of two.

Alternatively, a smaller 15% discount can be realised using the code EARLYBIRD15. This code is only valid for bookings between Monday and Wednesday.

We’ve played Parallax in Southampton and found it to be a good challenge for the two of us. It’s a short walk from the Moxy Southampton where we stay in sometimes before a cruise.

Panic Room Gravesend

Use the code FREEBEE to get one player free when playing with a team of four or more (effectively a 25% discount). This code is valid until August 31st 2025

Case Closed Edinburgh discount codes

Is it a discount code or not? Enter the code STUDENT15 at the checkout to receive a 15% discount on your booking.

Just make sure your kids/grandkids take along some form of student ID.

Clue HQ discount code

This one is very family-specific. Use the code SCHOOLSOUT24 when booking to receive one free child place per two-paying adults. For this deal, kids must be aged under 13.

Mindworks escape room discount code

Use the code FAMILYSAVER15 for a 15% discount. Family teams must include at least two kids and one paying adult. A family of four will save £18, although the discount is not available on Saturdays.

Xscream Escapes discount codes

Save 20% off bookings between Monday and Sunday with the code STUDENT10. Obviously, don’t forget to take the relevant ID when visiting. There is also a 20% Blue Light discount (code: BLUE20) but you will need a Blue Light Card to qualify.

One word of warning. Xscream Escapes focuses on fear and horror, so this may not be the best choice for young kids.

Escape Brum escape room discount code

Use the code PLAY75 and all rooms are just £75. A decent reduction – Escape Brum escape rooms normally cost £92 for four players.

Lucardo Escape Rooms discount codes

There are quite a few codes available at Lucardo’s that could save you some serious money. NHS workers, Teachers, Police, Armed Forces and Fire services personnel can all save 20% on their booking with the code HEROES20. ID required.

Students can save £40 for a team of six with code Mstudent6. A team of 3-5 student players can save 20% with code OStudent3-5. These student codes are only valid Monday to Friday and exclude the Virginia House premises. Valid student ID required.

Perhaps the best deal is the ‘Thursday Promo Special’. Make a phone booking on 0161 425 2580 and quote Thursday promo special to access a special 2-for-1 deal. Pay for your first game and receive a second completely free. Note that you will have to play each game consecutively on the same day.

Also note that none of these deals are offered at the Lucardo Rawtenstall centre.

Elusion Rooms discount codes

Use the code SUMMERVIP for a 25% discount on every booking. Note that the code cannot be used for Saturday bookings. Kids under 8 go free.

Exciting Escapes rooms discount codes

Exciting Escapes have two decent offers. Use the code SUMMER89 to reduce game prices to £89 per room (only valid Monday-Friday). Alternatively, OFFPEAK15 can be used by teams of three or more for a 15% discount (valid Sunday to Friday).

Cryptology Swindon discount codes

This one is nice and simple. During the summer holidays, children play for just £10 each (usually they are charged at full rate – £27.50). This deal appears to be available for Peak and Off Peak times and dates too.

Divergent Games escape room discount codes

You’ll have to plan a long way ahead with this one. The code EARLY_BIRD10 will give you a 10% discount on any game booked at leats four weeks in advance. Note that children and adults are priced the same for these games.

Can You Escape? discount code

Another one where you’ll have to plan ahead. Use the code EB15 for a 15% discount on any booking at least 15 days into the future.

Sadly, Escape 808 appears to have closed down.

Use the code SUMMER20 to get a 20% discount for all groups of four or more. This discount code cannot be used on Saturdays or for any of the Escape 808 party packages.

Trapped escape room discount codes

Use the code SUMMER30 for a 30% discount on all bookings between Monday and Friday. Note that sessions are open, so there will be other people playing along with your family. Trapped do allow players under the age of 14, but they require advanced notice to make the experience more “child friendly”.

Bonus: Sign up to the Trapped email newsletter to get a 20% discount off your first booking.

Another handy school holiday deal. Use the code ESCAPEEDU10 at the checkout for a 10% discount on all games. Just note that your children will need to be aged 11+.

Escape Hunt discount codes

Escape Hunt has a number of discounts available for their rooms. Students can claim 15% off, but they will need to present ID at the time of booking (only valid Monday-Thursday).

Key workers can claim 10% when their team of four (or more) plays between Monday-Thursday using the code KEYWORKER2024. At least one player must have valid ID showing their status as a key worker (think nurse, doctor, paramedic, firefighter etc).

Interestingly, Escape Hunt also offer discounts for more ‘mature’ players. If you’re over 60, you can claim 10% off your ticket price – just present ID when arriving at the escape rooms. Again, this deal is only valid Monday-Thursday.

Finally, using the code EHEARLYBIRD results in a 10% discount on any booking for a game before 12pm Monday-Thursday.

There’s no code as such, but any children on your Cave Escape booking will automatically receive a 50% discount until 29th August.

Bit of a strange one this. The code WORLDOFESCAPE10 can be used to get a 10% discount per player – but only when booking escape rooms at the Escape Reality Glasgow location. Just use the code when making a booking online.

The Escapement escape room discount codes

Act quick on this one. Escapement is offering a 20% discount vouchers – but there’s only 100 available this Black Friday (28/11/2025). Use the code BF2025 at the checkout.

The Escapement in Margate has two permanent discount offerings. Blue Light card holders can claim a 10% discount on their booking with the code BLUELIGHT. And if it’s your birthday, use the code BIRTHDAYESCAPE to get 10% off one person’s entry (note: you’ll need a team of six to claim this discount).

You will need to show ID at the venue to claim either of these discounts.

On a break in Munich? Why not try Escape Game Münich. Use the code PFINGSTEN25 to get a 15% discount for a team of four or more. But be quick – the discount is only valid until June 22nd.

Escape room discount codes for London?

Occasionally you may be able to pick up a discount for escape rooms in central London by buying a Groupon/Wowcher deal. However, the savings tend to be minimal and the booking options severely limited.

The cost of real estate rental in London, along with sustained demand from players, means that most escape room operators in the city do not/cannot offer discounts.
